Proxy Voting

Through the proxy voting process stockholders are able to act as owners of a corporation. Heartland Funds' portfolio managers are responsible for evaluating proxy ballots of the stocks owned by the Funds and for voting in the best interests of our Fund shareholders. This process demonstrates that we take our fiduciary responsibility seriously.
