Note:

• Additional IRA Forms or account documentation may be required.
• All purchases must be made in U.S. dollars and checks must be drawn on U.S. banks. The Funds will not accept third party checks, money orders, credit card convenience checks or cash.
• To add to an account, detach the Additional Investment Form from your account statement. Submit the form with your check payable to Heartland Funds.

• Bank instructions must be established at the time the account is opened. 
• Accounts requiring additional forms or documentation may not be opened online. 
• You may also make additional investments through the Internet by logging into your account.

By Wire

To open an account by wire, please complete one of the following:

• Equity Fund Account Application
• IRA Account Application
  
• Coverdell ESA Application

Note:

• Additional IRA Forms or account documentation may be required.
• If Heartland Funds is not informed of the new account and wire purchase prior to market close on the day it was delivered to State Street Bank & Trust, your purchase may be delayed or cancelled.
• Please note that your financial institution may charge a fee to wire funds.
   

By Automatic Investment

• Automatic Investment plans may be established for a minimum of $50 per bank draft.
• Complete the automatic investment section of the Account Application or the Account Maintenance Form (for existing accounts)
• Attach a voided check
• Return the form to the appropriate address
   

By Exchange

• New accounts may be opened by exchange and will have identical registration and services as the account from which the funds were exchanged.
• Please note that exchanges may cause tax consequences. You should consult with your tax advisor.
• Exchanges may be placed in writing, by telephone or through the Internet by logging into your established Heartland Funds account.
